Social media scheduling for law firms

seenpaid lets lawyers and small law firms write posts ahead, review them, and schedule them to LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads and X from one calendar. It does not review content for bar compliance: every post goes out exactly as you approved it, so ABA Model Rule 7.1 and your state’s version of it stay your call.

Which platforms matter

Our pick of networks for law firms, and how often to post on each.

Other lawyers, in-house counsel and business clients read LinkedIn. Posts go out from each lawyer’s personal profile.

How often: Two or three posts a week. (Our recommendation)

Posts as your personal profile. LinkedIn company pages are not supported yet.

Short notes on new rulings and legal news fit here, and likes, reposts and replies come back into seenpaid.

How often: When a ruling or deadline gives you something to say. (Our recommendation)

General-audience explainers: what a tenant can do about a deposit, what a valid will needs.

How often: Two or three a week. (Our recommendation)

Court reporters and legal commentators still post here. You pay X for API posting.

How often: One original a day is plenty. Source: X’s open-sourced ranker: each post after an author’s first in a feed is scored down

Bring your own X API key. X bills you for API posting; seenpaid does not resell it.

Five posts to schedule

Sample drafts. Replace anything in brackets with your own details.

  1. 1

    The plain-English ruling explainer

The [court] ruled yesterday that [issue]. What it means if you [situation], in three points. General information, not legal advice.
  2. 2

    The deadline reminder

In [state], most [claim type] claims must be filed within [period]. Missing the deadline usually ends the case. What to do this week if that is you.
  3. 3

    The myth correction

No, a verbal agreement is not automatically unenforceable. When it holds, and when it does not.
  4. 4

    The first-meeting walkthrough

What happens at a first consultation with us: what to bring, how long it takes, and how our fees work.
  5. 5

    The firm news post

[Name] joins our employment practice after [years] representing employees in [area].

How the agent runs it

  1. 01At signup, give seenpaid your firm’s practice-area page. It drafts three first posts from what the page says, and you edit them before anything is scheduled.
  2. 02Connect each lawyer’s personal LinkedIn, plus Bluesky and Threads. Nothing publishes on its own: a draft stays a draft until someone schedules it.
  3. 03Write a month of explainers in one sitting, or ask your agent to draft them from articles your firm has already published.
  4. 04Before scheduling, read each post against Rule 7.1: no results claims without context, no comparisons you cannot back up. validate_post checks length and media, not ethics.
  5. 05Schedule. The Posts page keeps every published post, with a link to the live copy on each network that returns one.
How the agent works

Rules to know before you post

General information with its source, not legal advice. seenpaid publishes what you write and does not check it against these rules.

Rule 7.1: no false or misleading communication

The rule covers every communication about a lawyer’s services, social posts included. States adopt their own versions, so check yours as well.

“A lawyer shall not make a false or misleading communication about the lawyer or the lawyer's services.”

True statements can still mislead

A post can be accurate and still breach the rule if it leaves out a fact that changes what a reader would conclude.

“Misleading truthful statements are prohibited by this Rule.”

Case results and comparisons

Posting a verdict or settlement can mislead if it suggests the same result for the reader. Comparing your firm to others needs facts behind it.

“may be misleading if presented so as to lead a reasonable person to form an unjustified expectation that the same results could be obtained for other clients in similar matters”

Does revenue attribution apply to you?

Not relevant if you don’t sell online.

If clients do not pay through an online checkout, revenue attribution has nothing to match. Leave it off, which is the default, and seenpaid posts your links exactly as you wrote them.

Plan that fits

Solo

$19.99/mo · 5 workspaces, every platform in each

One workspace holds the firm’s channels and every lawyer’s own LinkedIn; accounts are not capped. Move up only if you run many separate brands. Every workspace connects all the platforms above, with as many accounts as you need. Every plan has every feature; they differ only by how many workspaces (brands) you run.

Questions

Does seenpaid check posts for bar compliance?

No. It checks length and media for each network and nothing else. Whether a post complies with Rule 7.1 and your state’s rules is for you or your ethics counsel to decide before you schedule it.

Can several lawyers at the firm use one account?

There are no separate seats or roles: an account is one login. Each lawyer’s personal LinkedIn can be connected to it, with that lawyer’s consent.

Can we post to the firm’s LinkedIn page?

Not yet. seenpaid connects personal LinkedIn profiles only, so firm news goes out through a lawyer’s own profile.

Does seenpaid keep a record of what was published?

Every published post stays on the Posts page with its date, its networks and, where the network returns one, a link to the live copy. If your state requires you to keep copies of advertising, treat that list as a starting point, not a substitute for your own archive.
