Social media scheduling for newsletter writers

seenpaid helps newsletter writers promote each issue without rewriting it five times. It schedules posts to LinkedIn, X, Bluesky and Threads and can publish to a Ghost or WordPress site. If paid subscriptions go through a checkout that carries seenpaid’s tracking id, it matches new subscribers to the post that sent them.

Which platforms matter

Our pick of networks for newsletter writers, and how often to post on each.

The issue’s main argument, written as a standalone post, with the link at the end.

How often: Two posts per issue. (Our recommendation)

Posts as your personal profile. LinkedIn company pages are not supported yet.

One sharp line from the issue, then the link.

How often: Two or three posts per issue, spread over days. Source: X’s open-sourced ranker: each post after an author’s first in a feed is scored down

Bring your own X API key. X bills you for API posting; seenpaid does not resell it.

Writers and readers who left X. Likes, reposts and replies come back into seenpaid.

How often: Same as X. (Our recommendation)

A conversational teaser that asks readers what they think.

How often: One per issue. (Our recommendation)

Publish a web post to your own Ghost site from the same calendar as the social posts.

How often: When the issue has a web version. (Our recommendation)

Five posts to schedule

  1. 1

    The one-idea teaser

This week’s issue in one line: most pricing pages bury the only number buyers want. The other four points and the fix: [link]
  2. 2

    The chart from the issue

One chart from Tuesday’s issue: [what it shows]. The rest of the data, and what I think it means, is in the newsletter.
  3. 3

    The reader reply

A reader replied to last week’s issue with a better example than mine. With their permission, here it is.
  4. 4

    The archive roundup

Five past issues for anyone who just subscribed: [links]. Start with the second one.
  5. 5

    The what-you-get post

What arrives every [day]: one [topic] breakdown, under five minutes to read, no sponsored issues.

How the agent runs it

  1. 01Give seenpaid your newsletter’s landing page at signup; it reads how you sell and drafts three posts from it.
  2. 02After each issue goes out, paste it into Claude or ChatGPT with seenpaid connected and ask for a teaser, a chart post and a quote post per network.
  3. 03The agent validates each against the network’s limits and schedules them over the week, so the issue gets more than one day of attention.
  4. 04Turn on attribution, link to your paid tier in the posts, and see in Results which post brought paid subscribers, with renewals credited to the same post.
How the agent works

Rules to know before you post

General information with its source, not legal advice. seenpaid publishes what you write and does not check it against these rules.

Sponsored issues promoted on social

If an issue is sponsored and you promote it on social, disclose the sponsor in the post. A plain word like sponsored or ad is enough.

“It’s fine (but not necessary) to include a hashtag with the disclosure, such as #ad or #sponsored.”

Does revenue attribution apply to you?

It works when the tracking id reaches the checkout, for example a Stripe Payment Link or Stripe Checkout you control. A checkout run by a hosted newsletter platform may not pass the id through, so test one purchase before relying on it.

Plan that fits

Solo

$19.99/mo · 5 workspaces, every platform in each

A newsletter’s social channels fit in one workspace, and Solo covers several. Every workspace connects all the platforms above, with as many accounts as you need. Every plan has every feature; they differ only by how many workspaces (brands) you run.

Questions

Can seenpaid send my newsletter?

No. It is a social media scheduler, not an email tool. It can publish a post to a Ghost or WordPress site, but sending the issue to subscribers stays with your newsletter platform.

Can it post to Substack or beehiiv?

No, neither is a channel seenpaid connects to. Link to the issue from the networks it does post to.

Can I post to Medium as well?

Only if you already hold a Medium integration token. Medium stopped issuing new ones, so a newer Medium account may not be able to connect.

How do I know which post brought a paid subscriber?

Switch on attribution and link to your paid tier from the post. When the payment carries that post’s tracking id, Results credits the post, and later renewals of the same subscription count for it too.
