Where do these scores come from?
From TypeSafe’s Jev decision model — the same call seenpaid’s validate_post makes when an AI agent schedules a post. It is not our model and not a hand-written rule list.
Is a high spam score a verdict that my post IS spam?
No. Every number here is a probability between 0 and 1, not a pass/fail judgement. It is advisory — nothing here blocks or edits your post. Read a high score as "worth a second look," not "delete this."
Does it get it wrong sometimes?
Yes, and it tends to run strict on short, punchy posts — the kind that read fine to a person but pattern-match to bait out of context. In our own test against a second AI judge (Fable) on 520 real posts, Jev agreed on 85 of 100 sampled spam calls at the 0.65 threshold used here; among the posts where they disagreed, Jev called the stricter verdict far more often than not (about 12 to 3).
How do I check if my tweet is spam?
Paste it above and press Check post. You get four scores back in under a second: how likely it is to read as spam or engagement bait, whether the first line gives a reason to keep reading, whether it makes sense to a stranger, and whether it reads as promotional. It works the same for LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky or Instagram captions.
Is Jev accurate?
On the obvious calls, yes. In our test it agreed with Fable 94 of 100 times on whether a post was promotional. It is less reliable on style: short lowercase opinion posts get flagged as bait more often than they should. The full write-up is on our blog under "Jev review".
Do you store or log what I paste in?
No. The caption is sent to Jev to be scored and is not saved anywhere or written to our logs — only its length and how long the check took.
