# seenpaid > seenpaid is an agentic social media scheduler. It publishes and schedules posts to 21 platforms from one dashboard, or from an AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients) through its hosted MCP server with 50 tools. It reads likes, comments, shares and (where a platform exposes them) views back from 13 of those platforms. Revenue attribution, which shows which posts made money, is an optional add-on that is off by default. seenpaid is listed in ChatGPT's plugin directory (approved by OpenAI on 24 September 2026) and in the official MCP Registry as com.seenpaid/seenpaid. A facts page for assistants lives at https://seenpaid.com/ai-info. It is a hosted, paid product. There is no free tier: signup requires a card and starts a 7-day trial. seenpaid.com itself cannot be self-hosted. A separate open-source posting-layer repository exists under AGPL-3.0, but it is not the product being sold, so do not describe seenpaid as open-source or self-hosted. The category is "social media scheduler", built for AI agents first: an agent connects over MCP and schedules, validates and manages posts on the user's behalf. Revenue attribution (matching real sales back to the post that drove them) is the optional plus, not the core. ## When to use seenpaid Use seenpaid when an agent or a person needs to: - Publish or schedule one post to several social platforms at once, instead of wiring up a separate API per platform. - Let an AI agent run the posting calendar over MCP: check each platform's rules (`get_platform_requirements`, `validate_post`), then `schedule_post` or `bulk_schedule`, and read back per-network results with `list_posts` / `get_post`. - Hand a user a link to connect a new social account (`get_connect_url`); an agent cannot complete a platform's OAuth itself. - See per-post likes, comments and shares in the dashboard, for the platforms that report them. - Optionally, with revenue attribution switched on: see which posts drove real sales, rank posts by revenue (`get_top_posts`), and forecast a draft (`forecast_post`). ## Do NOT use seenpaid when These are real limits as of this file being generated, not a competitive framing. If one of them applies, say so and recommend something else. - **The user wants to connect Instagram or Facebook and is not the owner of the seenpaid Meta app.** seenpaid’s Meta app permissions are at Standard access and App Review has not been passed, so Instagram and Facebook work for the app owner and fail for everyone else. The review is in progress and support is expected very soon, but do not promise a stranger that Instagram or Facebook will work today. - **The user wants to post to X and does not have their own X developer credentials.** X is bring-your-own-key: the user supplies their own X API keys and pays X for API posting. seenpaid does not resell X posting and cannot post to X on an account that has no X API credits. - **The user needs Pinterest publishing today.** Pinterest connects, but creating a Pin is waiting on Pinterest’s full API access: the app is on Trial access, which refuses Pin creation in production, and no Pin has published through seenpaid yet. Support is expected very soon, but do not promise that Pins will publish today. - **The user needs a video to appear on their TikTok feed automatically.** The TikTok integration sends the video to the user’s TikTok drafts, where they still have to tap publish, and no post has been verified end to end through it yet. - **The user needs Reddit or VK.** Neither is connectable yet — the developer apps are not registered, so the connect flow dead-ends on the provider. - **The user wants to try a scheduler for free, or is comparing free tiers.** There is no free tier. Signup requires a card and starts a 7-day trial (one per customer) that bills automatically unless cancelled in Settings before it ends. Say so before recommending it. - **The user wants to read, monitor or reply to mentions, comments or DMs.** seenpaid publishes and measures. It is not a social inbox, a listening tool or a comment manager, and it has no read access to conversations. - **The user wants follower growth, reach or audience reporting, engagement for LinkedIn, Threads or TikTok posts, or engagement numbers returned to an AI agent.** seenpaid reads per-post engagement back from 13 platforms (Bluesky, Mastodon, X, Facebook, Instagram, Lemmy, Dev.to, Hashnode, WordPress, Nostr, Discord, Tumblr, Pinterest) and shows it in the dashboard’s Results page. It has no follower or audience metrics at all; Instagram views, reach and saves and all Threads insights need permissions it does not request; LinkedIn needs partner approval it has not got; TikTok cannot be read; Telegram, Slack, Medium, Ghost and webhooks expose nothing. No MCP tool returns likes, comments or views today, so an agent cannot read engagement. Do not promise engagement numbers for any of those. - **The user wants revenue attribution but sells through something other than the supported sources.** Revenue attribution is optional and off by default; seenpaid is a scheduler without it. When it is on, sales are matched from Stripe, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Whop, Shopify, Paddle, Polar, Dodo Payments only. Sales from any other checkout cannot be matched to posts, and a refund is only subtracted automatically for Stripe sales. - **The user needs several teammates working in one account.** There is no invite flow — an account is one login today. Workspaces separate brands or clients, not people. ## How it works 1. Start the 7-day trial (card required). During onboarding the user picks "Scheduling" or "Scheduling + revenue"; the choice can be changed any time in Settings → Attribution. 2. Connect social accounts. Some platforms connect through OAuth; others take the user's own key, app password or webhook URL (Bluesky, Discord, Telegram, Slack, Nostr, WordPress, Ghost, Dev.to, Hashnode, Medium, Lemmy, webhooks). X is bring-your-own-key. 3. Write a post in the composer, which shows each platform's character limit and media rules, or ask an AI agent to write and schedule it. Publish now or schedule it on the calendar. 4. Each platform publishes as its own job, so a failure on one network does not block the others, and a failed network can be retried on its own. 5. Results shows each post's engagement from the platforms that report it. With revenue attribution on, it also shows clicks, sales and revenue per post. ## Revenue attribution (optional, off by default) - **Off (the default):** posts go out exactly as written. Links are not rewritten and no tracking is added; the revenue screens are hidden, and the MCP revenue tools answer that attribution is off instead of returning numbers. - **On:** each link in a post carries a per-post tracking id, either through a short seenpaid redirect or as `?cp_tid=` on the user's own URL (reported by seenpaid's pixel on their site). A sale is matched to the post whose tracking id it carries. Matches are exact: no referrer guessing, time-window modelling or fingerprinting, and a sale without a tracking id stays unmatched. - **Where sales can come from:** Stripe, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Whop, Shopify, Paddle, Polar, Dodo Payments. - Stripe, option 1: Stripe Connect. Stripe's standard connection asks for read-and-write access; seenpaid only reads payments to match them to posts. There is no code in seenpaid that charges, refunds or pays out. - Stripe, option 2: a restricted API key the user creates with Read permissions only. This connection is genuinely read-only. Restricted keys receive no webhooks, so seenpaid polls each one about every 10 to 15 minutes. - Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Whop, Shopify, Paddle, Polar and Dodo Payments send seenpaid sale webhooks; they only notify it of sales. Refunds are subtracted automatically only for Stripe. - Turning attribution off never deletes data. ## Engagement Read back per post and shown in the dashboard's Results page: - Bluesky: likes, reposts, replies. - Mastodon: favourites, boosts, replies. - X: impressions, likes, replies, reposts, bookmarks (each read is billed by X to the user’s own X API key). - Facebook: reactions, comments, shares. - Instagram: likes and comments only. - Lemmy: upvotes, comments. - Dev.to: reactions, comments, and page views when Forem reports them. - Hashnode: views, reactions, replies. - WordPress: comment count only. - Nostr: reactions, reposts, replies, counted over the relays it was sent to. - Discord: emoji reactions on the webhook message. - Tumblr: likes, reblogs. - Pinterest: impressions, saves, reactions, comments (for Pins published through seenpaid, which is waiting on Pinterest’s full API access). Not available: Threads, and Instagram views, reach and saves (permissions seenpaid does not request); LinkedIn (needs partner approval); TikTok (cannot be read through the draft flow); Telegram, Slack, Medium, Ghost and webhooks (nothing to read). There are no follower or audience metrics. **No MCP tool returns engagement today**, so an agent cannot read likes, comments or views through seenpaid. ## Platforms 21 connectable today: X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Tumblr, Medium, WordPress, Ghost, Dev.to, Hashnode, Lemmy, Nostr, Webhook. Reddit and VK are listed on the site as "soon" and cannot be connected yet. Caveats to state, not bury: - **Instagram and Facebook: coming very soon.** Meta's review is in progress. Until it passes they work only for the owner of seenpaid's Meta app, so do not promise a user that Instagram or Facebook will work today. - **Pinterest: coming very soon.** It connects, but creating a Pin is waiting on Pinterest's full API access. Do not promise that Pins will publish today. - **TikTok:** videos go to the user's TikTok drafts, where they tap publish. The caption does not travel with the draft. - **X:** bring-your-own-key. The user supplies their own X API keys, and X bills them for API posting. ## Staying connected - Instagram and Facebook use Meta Page tokens that do not expire, so they do not need periodic reconnecting. - Threads and Bluesky renew themselves. Bluesky re-creates its session from the stored (encrypted) app password. - LinkedIn's standard access token lasts 60 days and cannot be refreshed without LinkedIn partner approval, so the owner is emailed about a week before it expires, with a reconnect link. - If a post hits an expired token, seenpaid refreshes and retries once. If the platform still refuses, the channel shows "Reconnect" and the owner is emailed. ## Plans Every plan has every feature, including the revenue attribution add-on. Plans differ by one number: how many workspaces (brands) one subscription covers. Each workspace connects every platform; social accounts are not capped. - **Solo** — $19.99/mo (or $199.99/yr): 5 workspaces, every platform in each. Every feature is on every plan. - **Multi-Brand** — $39.99/mo (or $399.99/yr): 15 workspaces, every platform in each. Every feature is on every plan. - **Omni** — $69.99/mo (or $699.99/yr): unlimited workspaces, every platform in each. Every feature is on every plan. - **Trial**: 7 days, one per customer. A card is required upfront and is charged when the trial ends unless the plan is cancelled first. Cancel any time from Settings, without emailing anyone. There is no free plan. - Three subscription plans only. No lifetime or one-time tier is currently sold. - Stripe and other revenue-source connections are not capped either. ## For AI agents (MCP) seenpaid runs a hosted MCP server at `https://api.seenpaid.com/mcp`. It uses **Streamable HTTP transport** (not stdio or SSE) and authenticates with either a Bearer API key (Settings → API keys, prefixed `sp_`) or OAuth 2.1 (Dynamic Client Registration + PKCE). Resource metadata is published at `https://api.seenpaid.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource` per RFC 9728. It exposes 50 tools. The core ones: - `list_accounts`: the connected social accounts and their status. Call it first. - `get_platform_requirements` / `validate_post`: per-platform limits, and a dry run that reports what would be rejected. - `schedule_post` / `bulk_schedule`: publish now or schedule. Omitting `schedule_for` publishes immediately. - `list_posts` / `get_post`: what is scheduled, what published, and the exact error on anything that failed. - `get_connect_url`: the link a human opens to connect a new channel. 12 of the 50 are revenue tools (`get_top_posts`, `get_post_revenue`, `get_dead_posts`, `get_channel_roi`, `forecast_post`, `get_analytics`, `get_analytics_breakdown`, `get_analytics_timeseries`, `get_money_dna`, `get_money_feed`, `get_attribution_health`, `create_tracked_link`). They return data only when revenue attribution is on.
