Short answer: want the most platforms, or free if you self-host — Postiz. Lots of accounts for an automation stack — Blotato. Running 1 to 3 accounts and want a real free plan — Buffer. Mostly writing for X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon, with a free tier that includes API access — Typefully. Want to try paid features without a card — Publer. Want scheduling built on deep analytics — Metricool. Bill through RevenueCat specifically — planpo.st. And if you sell something and want to know which post produced the sale, not just likes, that's what I built seenpaid for.
I make seenpaid, one of the eight schedulers below, so read this with that in mind. Every price and plan detail here was read off each vendor's own pricing page on 23–24 September 2026. Two of them — Typefully and Publer — price by a calculator that didn't return a number to an automated read; I say so rather than guess.
Why people look for a Post Bridge alternative
Post Bridge itself is a clean, fast cross-poster: 10 platforms, a 16-tool MCP server on every plan starting at $29 a month, and a 7-day trial with nothing due today. The people who go looking for something else mostly aren't complaining about bugs — they're running into edges the product doesn't cover:
- "Reddit is the gap — no API support in Post Bridge, and direct Reddit API requires creating a developer app." (rosiecitrine, r/openclaw, 15 March 2026)
- "I subscribe to postbridge before and it is good, but recently I also tried postminion and registered as their beta user test. Postminion pricing seems tempting..." (Legitimate_Judge_468, r/AskReddit, 25 July 2026)
Beyond those two, the more common reason is what Post Bridge doesn't claim to do in the first place. Its own pricing and agents pages say nothing about revenue, and its analytics are in beta — nothing on post-bridge.com connects to a payment processor, so it can tell you a post went out but not what it earned. Its platform list stops at 10 (no Reddit, Discord, Telegram or Nostr), which is where several of the eight below pull ahead.
The 8 alternatives, at a glance
Price at 5 and 15 connected accounts, billed monthly, where a vendor's own page gives a number to compute it from:
- Postiz: $29/mo at 5 accounts (Standard); $49/mo at 15 (Team tops out at 10, so 15 needs Pro). 30+ platforms, open source and free to self-host. MCP: hosted server, 13 tools per its docs.
- Blotato: $29/mo at both 5 and 15 accounts (Starter covers 20). 9 platforms. MCP: 36 tools plus a REST API and official n8n/Make nodes.
- Buffer: $30/mo at 5 accounts, $90/mo at 15, billed monthly (its Essentials plan is priced per channel; billed yearly it's $25 and $75). 12 platforms, plus a genuine free plan for 3 accounts. MCP: included on the free plan, since 27 May 2026.
- Typefully: no computed price — typefully.com/pricing didn't return plan prices to an automated check. Free plan: 10 posts a month, API and MCP included. 6 platforms per typefully.com today: X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Instagram.
- Publer: no computed price either — its plans page prices accounts through a calculator that also returned nothing to an automated read. Its own help center gives the shape: $5/mo for 1 account, every 10th account free. 13 platforms.
- Metricool: priced by brand (workspace), not by account — one brand includes unlimited connected accounts, so the price is the same at 5 and 15. Starter is $25/mo billed monthly ($20 billed yearly) for one brand; X costs +€10 per connected account a month on top. 12 platforms.
- planpo.st: $19.99/mo at both 5 and 15 accounts (Creator covers up to 15). 7 platforms. MCP: a 45-tool server, hosted or local.
- seenpaid (mine): $19.99/mo at both 5 and 15 accounts (Solo) — plans count workspaces, not accounts: Solo covers 5 workspaces (brands), each connecting every platform with no account cap. 21 platforms. MCP: 50 tools, included on every plan including the trial.
Postiz — most platforms, free if you self-host
Postiz is open source under AGPL-3.0, with over 36,000 GitHub stars, and can run on your own infrastructure for nothing. Hosted, Standard is $29 a month for 5 accounts and Team is $39 for 10; getting to 15 means Pro at $49, since Team's ceiling falls two accounts short. Its MCP server ships with OAuth sign-in and 13 tools per its own docs, on every plan. Pick it if you want the widest platform list here — 30+, including Nostr, Farcaster and Discord — or self-hosting matters more than price. The honest weakness: no revenue attribution, and the jump from 10 to 15 accounts costs a full tier more.
Blotato — most accounts per dollar, if you can clear the trial gate
Blotato's Starter plan is $29 a month for 20 accounts, so both 5 and 15 land at the same $29 — cheap at either count. Its MCP server publishes 36 tools, plus a REST API and official n8n and Make nodes, which makes it the strongest fit if you're wiring posting into an automation stack rather than talking to it through a chat client. Pick it if accounts per dollar is what you're optimizing for. The weakness: its 7-day trial covers every feature except the API and MCP — generating an API key ends the trial and starts the paid Starter plan immediately, so you can't test the agent side for free.
Buffer — the free plan, under a few accounts
Buffer has no per-account bill to worry about below 3 accounts: that tier is free forever, MCP included, since 27 May 2026. Past that, Essentials is $6 per channel a month billed monthly ($5 billed yearly) — $30/mo at 5 accounts, $90/mo at 15 on monthly billing, or $25 and $75 billed yearly. It covers 12 platforms, including Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads and Substack. Pick it if you run 1 to 3 accounts and want the safety of a real free tier with agent access built in. The weakness is the one people already say about it: it's priced per channel, so the bill climbs with every account you connect, and at 15 accounts it's the most expensive plan on this page.
Typefully — writing-first, if you don't need a price upfront
Typefully's free plan gives you 10 posts a month and includes the API and MCP server, which is generous for a free tier. Per typefully.com, checked today, it covers X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Instagram — 6 platforms, with no Facebook or TikTok mentioned. I couldn't get a number for its paid plans: typefully.com/pricing didn't render plan prices to either an automated fetch or a raw page load, so no computed price at 5 or 15 accounts is given here — open the page yourself if the number matters to you. Pick it if your posting is mostly text for X, LinkedIn and Threads and you want a free tier that includes agent access. The weakness: still no Facebook or TikTok, and a price you can't check without visiting the site directly.
Publer — try before you pay, and a volume discount
Publer's Professional plan starts at $5 a month for one account, per its own help center, and for every 9 social accounts or team members you add, the 10th is free — also from its help center. What it doesn't give easily is a total at a specific account count: that number is computed by a calculator on its plans page that returned nothing to an automated read, so rather than repeat a figure I couldn't verify myself, I'm leaving it out — price it directly if the exact number matters to you. Its free plan covers 3 accounts (no X) with 10 scheduled posts each, and paid plans can be trialled without a card: 7 days on Professional, 14 on Business. 13 platforms, including Telegram, WordPress and Mastodon. Pick it if you want to try paid features card-free, or you run enough accounts for the every-10th-free discount to matter. The weakness: because the total isn't a flat number, you can't compare it to the rest of this list at a glance.
Metricool — analytics-first, priced by brand not by account
Metricool prices by brand (its word for a workspace), not by connected account, and each brand can connect an unlimited number of social accounts — so, unusually on this list, the price at 5 accounts and the price at 15 accounts are the same number, as long as they sit under one brand. Starter is $25 a month billed monthly, or $20 billed yearly, for one brand; more brands cost more. X/Twitter isn't included at that price — it's a paid add-on, +€10 per connected account a month, per Metricool's own pricing page. It covers 12 platforms and includes MCP on every plan, including Free. Pick it if you want scheduling built on real analytics depth, or you're managing several accounts for one brand and don't want the bill to move with each one you add. The weakness: no revenue attribution, and X costs extra below the Advanced tier.
planpo.st — closest on attribution, thinnest on platforms
planpo.st is the only other tool on this list that connects directly to a payment processor for revenue attribution, alongside seenpaid — it reads Stripe, Shopify and RevenueCat. Creator is $19.99 a month and covers up to 15 accounts, so 5 and 15 cost the same. Its MCP server exposes a 45-tool surface, hosted or local. Pick it if you specifically bill through RevenueCat, which seenpaid doesn't read, or want client approval workflows, which seenpaid doesn't have. The weakness: 7 platforms is the fewest here, and its revenue sources (3) and MCP tool count (45) both sit behind seenpaid's (8 and 50).
seenpaid — mine, and the only one that reads what a post earned
This is what I built, so weigh it accordingly. Every scheduler above can tell you a post went out; most can tell you how many likes it got. None of them, Post Bridge included, connect to a payment processor, so none can tell you a post produced a sale. seenpaid does, through your own Stripe and seven other payment sources: a tracked link goes out with every post, and a payment that follows a click gets matched back to the post that earned it. Solo is $19.99 a month for 5 workspaces (brands), each connecting all 21 platforms with no cap on accounts; Multi-Brand is $39.99 for 15 workspaces. MCP is 50 tools, hosted, included on the trial itself. The honest downsides: there's no free plan and the 7-day trial needs a card, X is bring-your-own-key so you pay X directly for posting there, TikTok videos land in your drafts rather than posting directly, and new users can't connect Instagram or Facebook until Meta finishes reviewing the app. If you don't sell anything directly, the part that makes seenpaid different is worth nothing to you, and Buffer, Typefully or Publer will serve you just as well for less.
